Privacy Policy

The short version

We set no tracking cookies, run no analytics, and load no third-party advertising scripts. We do not ask for your name, your email or an account. There is nothing here to sell and we do not sell anything.

What your browser stores

Two items of local storage — kept on your device, never transmitted to us:

The last airport you viewed, so the advertisement in the corner can show something relevant rather than something random.
Whether you closed that advertisement, so it stays closed for a week.

Clearing your browser's site data erases both. Nothing else is stored.

What our server records

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, time, the page requested, browser user-agent — as essentially every web server does. They are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, are not combined with anything else, and are not shared.

Requests that leave this site

Your browser loads map tiles from MapTiler or OpenStreetMap, which necessarily see your IP address, as with any map on any website.

Aircraft positions are fetched by our server, not your browser, so the ADS-B networks never see you.

If you use the hotel or cruise search, or click the advertisement, you are handed over to Pavlus Travel with the search terms you entered and a tag identifying this site as the referrer. From that point their privacy policy applies. We pass no personal information, because we have none.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
